A good conclusion to the series, however for some reason this installment didn't quite appeal to me on the same level as the first three. I enjoyed the movie (which was based largely on this book) more.

The third installment to a wonderful series about growing up. I enjoyed re-visiting the "sisters" again.

This was a terrific book about growing up. All four characters are wonderfully well developed and each one spends her summer learning how to tear through the gossamer veils of childhood and face the difficult issues of acceptance, love, death, and disappointment.
