Amazon.com Review

An affectionate, sometimes bashful pig named Wilbur befriends a spider named Charlotte, who lives in the rafters above his pen. A prancing, playful bloke, Wilbur is devastated when he learns of the destiny that befalls all those of porcine persuasion. Determined to save her friend, Charlotte spins a web that reads "Some Pig," convincing the farmer and surrounding community that Wilbur is no ordinary animal and should be saved. In this story of friendship, hardship, and the passing on into time, E.B. White reminds us to open our eyes to the wonder and miracle often found in the simplest of things.

Title: Charlotte's Web
Author: E.B. White
Illustrator: Garth Williams
Summary: Wilbur was a pig, raised by a girl named Fern. He meets Charlotte, a spider who saved Wilbur from being slaughtered using her clever tactics. Charlotte left behind children and died peacefully in the end. Why? Up to you to find out!!!
Comments: This book is heart-warming and interesting. The only sad thing is that Charlotte died and it did not have a happy ending. But the story stays enchanting, even towards the end.It is one of my favourite books. I will definitely recommed it to everyone who loves reading:)

No words can express how much I love this book. My mother brought it for me when I was probably five or six. I remember reading it about 10 times one Summer. She died when I was about 12, and I wish I still had my origianal copy. Can't wait to have kids of my own so I can share this great story with them.
