Danny is a boy who lives only with his father as his mother passed away. He spends his time with cars since he was small and was oftenly covered in grease.Danny loves his father and his father tells him night time stories and gives him wonderful birthday presents.
One day, his father goes poaching for the first time after Danny's mother passed away. He teaches the methods of poaching found by his father. He loves to poach in Hazell's wood as there are many pheasants there and it is owned by a rich man but awfully rude, Mr Victor Hazell...
Another fantastic work from Roald Dahl, grab it and start reading!

Danny and the champion ofthe world is a good book as it is exciting one which when you start reading it you cannot stop.It is suitable for people of all ages.
Danny is a smart boy who loves fixing engines.When he was young,his toys are not plastic ones like our's.They were corks ,spanners and other things which you use to fix a car.He live in an old gipsy cavaran which was no much bigger than a fair-sized morden bathroom with his father only.His mother died when he was four months old so his father lovewhich he felt for his mother when she was alived now lavished upon him.
Soon ,he was surpised thar his kind and caring father actually broke the law!Then,Danny undestands the reason behind it and jins his father in this thrlling adventure.
I would recommend this book to children and their fathers as it is thrilling and it teaches us about the close relationship between a father and a son.A children would only like an exciting father. (read less)
