Alright, so my first reaction to this series was, "What the heck! Another teenage story of falling in love with a vampire! How pretentious and not creative at all", till I read Twilight. I saw my boyfriend's colleague devouring the series and I wondered what was there to it and was I to know soon enough.

Twilight is not like any other book. Yes it is about a teenager falling in love with a vampire, but what matters is the way it is written. The writing leaves you speechless and does take your breath away. Isabella (who prefers to be called "Bella") moves to Forks from Phoenix, and what she doesn't know is that her life is going to change more than she ever imagined. She meets Edward Cullen - the mysterious, dark, moody and brooding young man who I think she falls in love with at first sight. And from then on starts the love story....I will not give away more because it is fabulous! It takes you from one rollercoaster ride to the next with such ease that you do not feel uneasy. The dialogues between Isabella and Edward are brilliant. Here are some for you:

"I think your friends are angry with me for stealing you : Edward. They'll survive - Bella. I may not give you back, though: Edward"

"Edward: If I could dream at all it would be about you and I'm not ashamed of it"

I cannot wait to read "New Moon" - the 2nd instalment in this series. It has got me hooked. I wish I had a vampire for a boyfriend though. (read less)

Title:Twilight

"Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer is a novel about a girl called Bella. Bella's worst problem is Edward was a vampire and she was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Bella move to a town of Forks and meets a mysterious boy called Edward Cullen. He was hiding a dark secret: he was a vampire. He kept this secret to himself and his family(also vampire). Bella wants to know this secret but only when she realize that he has porcelain skin , golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, she check itin the webside and found out that he is a vampire.

Bella doesnt realize that the closer she get to him , the more she is putting herself in danger and in risk. And it might be too late to turn back as she is in love with him and her blood smells really good.

I enjoyed reading the story 'Twilight'. It is very exciting. The story is very intresting you would not like to put the book down until you must, you will not lose interest . (read less)

I haven't watch the movie and read the book without any influence from the the movie. I would say that the plot is decent, but there really isn't much of a climax. Perhaps the reason behind this is that it is the first in the saga. And the way it is reading is too teensy for me, but it may be just me since I haven't read teen fiction in a long time since I was 15. Perhaps when it is read and reviewed as a entire series, it may get higher ratings from me.

This is the book that hooked me into the series. It isn't as well written as Eclipse, but I loved it nonetheless. You can't help but love Edward. There's action, fun and teen angst.
