Always saw Haruki's book in other members' bookshelves, just managed to grab a copy. Hopefully it's gonna be a good read. :)

My current before-bed read, since it's a translated novel from Japanese, find it a bit hard trying to imagine Japanese in 1969-1970 context conversing in English, but after a while, get the hang of it, Watanabe, the protagonist is quite an interesting character, someone who doesn't give a damn about what others think of him.

The story is light, a quote that I like:
"Like the wind passing over my body, it had neither shape nor weight, nor could I wrap myself in it."

Like it so far.

Never really expected the last encounter, but that's what makes Haruki special, isn't it?

I kind of believe it's 60-70% percent an autobiography. :D

Sounds interesting. I'm quite keen to get the Chinese translated version from Taiwanese publisher, the 20th anniversary edition…hardly read fictions all these years, it could be a good start…

Yeah, you miss out a great deal for not reading fiction books, it's like going for holidays, it's gonna be fun, should make it a habit, healthier lifestyle, hehe. :)
