Speak carefully in corporate or business language, do not show too much of the real you, fearing that you will be claimed as being not professional. If you are the business executive in a company, your business partners may think you are not a capable businessman. Business turns out to be too serious and dull.

Meanwhile we have the exact opposite of the natural conversations somewhere else, outside of work, different kind of conversation, a more humane type, with stories and color, informal, spontaneous, warm, funny and real. Even our virtual life, online chatting and blogging is more real that our office life.

This book is all about being yourself, reclaiming your voice, and letting some personality, warmth, and humor into your work life. The author is focusing on 4 root traps that we have felled into the modern business communications: Obscurity, Anonymity, Hard-Sell and Tedium Trap.
