Love the book browser on the home page, but like more in-situ info and actions

hi jugend.

I find my self using the home page to browse what people have faved and shelved. My next instinct is to think "oh, i want/read that too!"

But to do that at the moment, you must click away to the book's page, do you stuff, then navigate back to home, find where you left off and continue. it doesn't flow very well.

It would be much nicer if instead of the brief tooltip on the main scroller, you can display the full book info popup (as used in my library or book search pages) so that I can click "wanted" or "Read" right there, without leaving the home page.

Yeah, I agree that it would be easier to bookmark from the scroll immediately.

My concern is the load factor, the current homepage is already quite slow/heavy, putting the bookmark feature means additional check in from the database, more scriptings and with book descriptions, more data streamed. I gotta test it out.
