I've been trying to figure out what being a "friend" on bookjetty really means.

My immediate expectation is that I can follow/explore my friends' books. Not individually, but as a collection. I would probably find this under the "Friends" or "Explore" sections. I would see the nice scrolling book browser, but also be able to browse as a list (just like my own book list).

I've hunted around, but I don't think this feature is already included, no?

It makes sense that if I have a number of friends online that I probably share some interests and tastes in books. Then it may make more sense to explore my friends' library, more sense than the faves and additions being made by the entire bookjetty community (as you can currently see on the home page).

PS: I have friends, not firends of course, but can't edit the title;-/

Yeah friends' catalog list is not up yet. Haven't got the time to do it when I launched the new BookJetty. Thanks for reminding me that. :)

Yeah the scroller list on the homepage may be flooded when there are more users in BookJetty, I agree that it'll be better at least to have the option to turn it into friends' bookshelves. I'll see what I can do.

Thanks, btw, pleaes bear with me if sometime it may take a while to get a feature up due to limited resource. :)

No problems! I think you made the right decision to go public beta even with an outstanding wish/feature list ... it can only accelerate the feedback/improvement process, and you are already generating a following.
