New Moon (Twilight, Book 2)

The 2nd book in the Twilight series was a slow read. I was disappointed that Edward left and was out of most of the book. I thought Bella became a bit whiney and leads Jacob on a bit. I suppose she's broken-hearted and all, but it was just slow to read, I guess. Also, I suppose this book did have a necessary place in the series overall. I will give it that.
