Blood Brothers (Sign of Seven Trilogy, Book 1)

I would rate this 3.5, but since there is no 0.5 here, I'll give it a 3. I would have expected more from Nora Roberts. This book is rather disappointing, it spends more time on explaining than the relationship between Cal and Quinn. Perhaps instead of a trilogy, this should be a single novel, it might be better this way. The Three Fates incorporates 3 couples in a novel yet I feel that the characters and their relationships are better developed here than in Blood Brothers. Hopefully, the next book in this trilogy would be better.
Try the Circle Trilogy for a better read if you haven't done so and is interested in a similar genre.
